So...we don't send out a Christmas Letter, but every now and then I like to update our blog so that our friends and family can read about Parker!! He has to be the cutest and smartest little guy around and he changes every day! Literally....in the past 6 months he's grown 4 inches taller and gained 5 pounds. He is "growing up too fast!" He can count to 15 and he is learning his alphabet. He is also learning the concept of over and under, knows what a pentagon is (along with all of the basic shapes), is learning opposites, and has almost mastered going potty on the "big boy toilet!" Of course, learning to go potty on the "big boy toilet" is our biggest challenge right now, he has gotten the concept and now we need to train him to tell us when he needs to go! He is very independant and is still unconditionally in love with Bella! Who we know loves him!!
To really describe Parker's personality, here are some of his most recent quotes:
I helped Parker get up on the toilet so he could go potty...he scooted off, lifted the seat up, and stood on his tallest tippy toes. I said, "Parker, is that how the big boys do it?" He said, "No, Mom, this is how Jim does it!" Jim is our babysitter's husband!! Ha ha....Gross!
In response to almost any question or suggestion from Brandon and I, Parker says, in a very grown up, frustrated voice, "OKAY, Fine!"
The sweet boy that Parker is, we were snuggling up, getting ready for bed and I told Parker, "I love you," and he said, "I know mom, I love you too."
He loves to quote one of his favorite movies- Meet the Robinsons- by saying-
"Ahhh...that's some good joe." (In reference to coffee)
"Choo Choo on THIS!"
"Mom, I think I want to go to the future."
He is so much fun and there is so much for us to be thankful for!
